All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Fannie "Peggy" Fanshier was born April 12, 1923 in Doxey, Oklahoma to Mary Beulah and George Washington Fanshier. She passed away October 3, 2000 in Great Plains Regional Medical Center, Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 21 days. Fannie grew up and made her home in Beckham County except for a short time in California. She worked as a LPN in the local hospital and nursing homes. She was married to Lloyd O'Farrell, and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Elk City Church of the Nazarene. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, husband; three brothers and sisters. Her survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Burnett and husband, Willis P., Elk City, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Malissa Sue Burnett, Elk City, Oklahoma; three sisters, Ruby Fanshier, Carolyn Armstrong and Drucilla Ferris, all of Elk City, Oklahoma; two brothers, Arthur Franshier, Arapaho, Oklahoma, and Earl Wayne Fanshier, Florida along with a host of other relatives and friends. No services are planned. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service.
