Born in Hammon, OK, the second of six children, to Nat and Lena Taylor. Frances attended schools in Roger Mills County and graduated from high school in Arnett, OK. She attended Northwestern State College at Alva and later moved to Oklahoma City, where she was employed at the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Frances attended Central State Beauty College in 1954 and for 25-years owned and operated several beauty shops in Oklahoma City. Frances always considered her clients her friends and extented family. She later obtained her real estate license and was employed with Feurborne Real Estate. Upon retirement she found her passion to be volunteer work. She was an a active supporter of the Christmas Connection, Best Years Club, Oklahoma Kidney Foundation, Integris Medical Center and the Oklahoma State Department of Tourism. Frances loved bowling and made many close friends while a member of many bowling leagues. Frances was married to John (Jack) Osborne, who died in April 1974. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Nat and Lena Taylor, sisters, Fleta Archer and Lena Smith. Her survivors include daughter Sondra Armer, husband Howard, Edmond Oklahoma, son John Osborne, wife Ann, Edmond, Oklahoma, and grandchildren, Gina and Gino Marion, Will Osborne, Scott Osborne, Andy Osborne, four great grandchildren, brother, Nat Taylor, wife Betty, Stillwater, Oklahoma, sisters Dema Mahoney, husband Paul, Wichita, Kansas, Clara Coe, Midwest City, Oklahoma, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mom leaves behind a very special friend, Bill Stone, Major USMC Ret. Frances and Bill have shared many wonderful times and a most special friendship over the last five-years. In lieu of flowers, please memorialize Frances with donations to the Oklahoma City Arthritis Foundation, 3232 W. Britton Rd., Ste 200, OKC 73120. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 27, 2003 at the Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond, 10:00 A.M. Baggerley Funeral Home 930 S.
