B. Bullock of Crawford, wil be held at the Breezy Meadow School building on next Sunday afternoon, June 10, 1945 at 3:00 o'clock. Ray Oakley was killed in action somehere in Sicily on July 7, 1944. Prior to his death he had been woundedd and was presented thre Purple Heart. The youth was 22 years of age at the time of his death. Ray Oakley attended the Breezy Meadow school and the peopled of that district, those of Roll and those of Crawford will join in paying tribute to one of their community who paid he supreme sacrific for his country. Rev. Lassiter, pastor of the Baptist church of Cheyenne will deliver the memorial sermon. Mrs. L.L. Males of Cheyenne and Mrs. F.G. Brann, also of this city, will have parts on the program, and Mrfs. Glen Crane and Mrs. Graham will give a vocal selection. The American Legion of Cheyenne will assist in the Memorial Service.
