Mary Jo Pace

Mary Jo Pace, 81, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 1996.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Temple Baptist Church with Richard 
Dickerson of the church officiating. Private committal will be in Llano 
Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St.

Mrs. Pace was born in Strong City, Okla. She married Bill Pace in 1930 at 
Cheyenne, Okla. He died in 1971. She moved to Amarillo in 1936 and began 
working as a salesperson at Levinešs Clothiers in 1952. She retired in 
1977.

She then worked at Hollywood Clothiers until 1982. She was a member of the 
Ladies Auxiliary of the Carpenters Union and Temple Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Robert Pace of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and 
three great-grandchildren.
