Douglas H. Phillips Sr.

PAMPA - Douglas H. Phillips Sr., 65, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel 
with the Rev. Alberta Helton, pastor of Reydon Community Church in Reydon, 
Okla., officiating. Burial will be in White Deer Cemetery by the funeral 
home.

Mr. Phillips was born in White Deer and had lived in Pampa for 50 years. 
He was a member of the Race Horse Association.

He married Flo Rita Hodges in 1967.

Survivors include a son, Douglas H. Phillips Jr.; four brothers, Dan 
Phillips of Malakoff, Billy B. Phillips of Dalton, Ala., Roy Phillips of 
Houston, and J.R. Phillips of Phoenix; two sisters, Audrey L. Cox of 
Norman, Okla. and Louise Bennett of Rapid City, S.D.; three grandchildren; 
and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to American Heart Association, 2404 W. 
Seventh, Amarillo, TX 79106.
