Mrs. Polk, 86, was born October 3, 1878 and passed away early Monday morning May 4, 1964 as she slept. Immediate survivors are four sons: Emit of California; Tom of Reydon; Louis of Dalhart, Texas; and Frank of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs. Lee Wells, Cheyenne and Mrs. Oleta Shiverdaker, Amarillo, Texas, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Polk had resided in Roger Mills county for more than 50 years. Residence had been in the old Midway community, in Strong City and her later years in Cheyenne.
