He was the son of Martin and Nellie Poindexter. On Jun 1, 1941, he married Juanita McVey and they had three sons, Kenneth passed away on May 12, 1996, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 27 days. Kenneth is survived by his lovely wife of 55 years, Juanita Poindexter of Pittsburg, California and three sons, Jim Poindexter of Antioch, California, John Poindexter of Fresno, California, Gary Poindexter of Hesperia, California, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Beulah Pyeatt of Pampa, Texas; 1 brother, Elgin Poindexter of Rogers, Arkansas and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers. Kenneth worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 35 years. After he retired from the railroad his hobby was making fishing rods and lures. He enjoyed showing others how to make the lures. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
