Turner Ave., a retired carpenter, were held Friday, Feburary 28, at 1 p.m. in the John N. Lisle Chapel. Interment will be in the Fresno Memorial Gardens. Prestridge died Sunday in his home after an illness of a year. A native of Granbury, Texas, he had lived in Fresno County 22 years. He retired 12 years ago. He was a member of the Carpenters Union. Surviving are his widow, Cynthia; four sons, Herbert J., Homer L., John Leroy, and George H. Prestridge, all of Fresno, three daughters, Mrs. Lois Miller of Fresno and Mrs. Lola Mae Gardner and Mrs. Lillie Rhea Burton, both of New Mexico; two brothers, Uburn of Oklahoma and Arron of New Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Minerva Agee and Mrs. Margaret George, both of Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
