Interment will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. James Harrison Parker Jr. was born June 23, 1940 at Sneedsvile, Tennessee to Harrison and Myrtle Trent Parker and passed away Saturdaym Habyart 3m 2003 at the age of 62. He was raised in the Hammon Community and has spent most all of his life in Hammon. He was married to JoAnn Green on August 1, 1958 at Elk City. Mr. Parker farmed for Oscar Flick, worked at the Co-op and since 1994 has been the safety manager for Roger Mills County. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sons, Timmy and Jerry Don. Survivors include his wife: JoAnn Parker of the home, 4 children, Donnie Parker and his wife Laronda of Hammon, Shirley Elliott and her husband Millard of Hammon, Mary Parker and Bambi Parker of Elk City, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 sisters, Minnie Blevins and her husband James of Grove, Oklahoma, Louise Issak and her husband Gene of Hartford, Alabaa and Elizabeth Ann Bright and her husband Ray of Edmond, Oklahoma.
