Parman, Jr. A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 21, 2002 at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Portland, Oregon for Aubrey B. Parman, Jr., who died June 17, 2002 at the age of 82 years and 4 days. Aubrey B. Parman, Jr., was born on June 13, 1920 to Aubrey B. Sr. and Julia E. Parman at Dempsey, Oklahoma. Junior attended one-room schools and graduated from the Reydon High school in 1937. He attended the Draughan Business College. In 1945 he met and married Peggy Armstron g at Woodward, Oklahoma and they have three sons, Bob and twins, Larry and Garry. Shortly after their marriage he and his family moved to Portland, Oregon where he was a US Postal Service Clerk until his retirement. He served his country in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the First Christian Church; he was a 50-year membe5r of the Canton, Oklahoma Masonic lodge, 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy, both his parents Aubrey and Julia, two brothers, Curtis Marion and Erwin Lee (Red). He is survived by his son Bob and wife Barbara of Auburn, Washington, Larry and his wife Terry of Gresham, Oregon and Garry and his wife Janet of Portland, Oregon, one sister Laveda Canon and husband Herb of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, one sister-in-law Neva Parman Churchill of Durham, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson, a nephew Randy Parman and wife, 3 niecxes Marveda Parman, Kathy Tidwell and husband Dayna Coker and husband and a host of friends.
