The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Prestridge, Louise, had been with these proud parents, brothers and sisters since December 17, 1931. Baby Louise had suffered more than two weeks from a spider bite. On Tuesday May 14 they brought her to the home of Senator and Mrs. Alvin Moore that she might be near the doctor, but with all the care that the doctors and loving hands could do that great Time Keeper took our little rose and transplanted her among the roses that never wither or die. And since she had gone where she feels no pain, let us not indulge in too much grief. The soul is incapable of death. And she, like a bird not long enough in her cage to become attached to it is free to fly away to purer air. For when the young die, their souls go at once to a better and Divine state. Since we cherish a trust like his, let our outward actions be in accord with it and let us keep our hearts pure and our minds calm. The Pearly Gates were opened, A gentle voice said come, And with farewells unspoken She calmly entered home.
