Pyle, 73 year-old city resident who died of a heart attack Sunday June 13, 1954 at Sperry. Rev. Herman C. Gingo, pastor and Rev. Marvin Nelson, pastor of the Berlin Methodist church, will officiate at the services. Mrs. Pyle was born Dec., 23, 1880, in Arkansas and was first married Sept., 6, 1896, at Milford, Texas, to A.V. Chappell, who preceded her in death Oct., 22, 1931. On Jan., 28, 1936, she married B.F. Pyle. He died May 21, 1948. Mrs. Pyle had been a resident of Elk City since 1930, coming here from Roger Mills County. She had resided in Oklahoma for 37 years since at the time of her death was a member of the Methodist church here and an active member of the Mother's classs. Survivors include a son, Alvin Chappell, Grimes; a daughter, Mrs. Violet E. Eds, Durham; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Barnard, Sperry, and Mrs. L.F. Moran and Mrs. John Caffey, both of Terrell, Texas. Burial will be in the Fairview cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Martin Hullum in charge of arrangements.
