Myrtle A. Ray 86 of Nampa, died Sunday, July 30, 2006. Funeral services were held August 3, 2006 at 3:00 in Nampa First Asssembly of God Church. With Pastor Barry Osteen. Burial followed at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa. Myrtle was born Feburary 28, 1920 in Durham, Oklahoma to Tony and Minnie Widener, she moved to California to be near to her brother and worked for PAC Tel & Tel for 15 years. She married James D. Ray on September 10, 1952. Later they moved to Idaho where they farmed in Payette & Nampa. Myrtle was a member of the Nampa First Assembly of God Church and made many fine quilts for the WM"S. She is survived by a son Gary, daughter- in-law, Meg and two grandchildren, Luke and Sarah of Issaquah, Washington. One brother Norman Widener and his wife June, and sister-in-law Zelma Widener, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in deaath by her parents, her husband, two brothers and a sister arrangements by Alsy's and Peersons Funeral Home of Nampa, Idaho.
