Mr. Robinson was born May 5, 1930, in Elk City, Oklahoma to Orville Blis and Dora Mae Robinson. He married Velma Dean Clay August 18, 1948, in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He went to school in Reydon, Oklahoma. He and Dean lived in Pampa and Lefors before moving to Follett, where they have lived for 31 years. He worked to Transwestern Oil Company for 20 years. A member of National Rifle Association. Don was an avid hunter and reader. He was living at Twin Oaks Manor in Booker at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, James and Dale. Survivors include his wife and mother, a daughter, Margaret Robinson of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two sons, Orville and wife Teresa of Follett, Texas and Clayton and wife Ellen of Ponchatoula, Lousiana; and sister Evelyn Porter and husband J.T. of Reydon, Oklahoma. He has nine grandchildren, Mesa, Eric, Dirk, Caleb, Zachary, Seth, Joshua, Jessica and Matt, and one great-grandchild. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
