She passed away June 27, 2006 in Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years 5 months and 21 days. Clenice moved with her parents to New Mexico and then to the New Liberty community where she graduated from High School. She was married to Delbert Robertson at Cheyenne, Oklahoma on June 1, 1951. They lived on the Robertson family home place and in the house that Delbert was born in. She was a member of the Sayre United Methodist Church. Clenice loved her family, the love of her life, Delbert to whom she was married to for 55 years. Together they enjoyed playing with Jason and Brandon. Mom always loved cooking with her boys. Sam, their dog was just like one of her kids. Sam was so special that when he passed away they buried him outside the yard he loved and watched over. Sam even had his own headstone. Clenice loved her family, brothers and sisters and especially loveed her brother-in-law Raymond whom has passed away several years ago. Clenice, Delbert, Janice, and Raymond lovede taking lots of trips. She usually could always talk Dad into taking her wherever she wanted to go. Clenice loved OU and kepy scores of all their players, kept stats and always wore her OU sweatshirts. To her Barry Switzer was the best coach ever and she thought he was the greatest. Clenice was the best wife, mom, grandma, sister, and friend to all who kenw her. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Services will be held Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Chapel officiated by Rev. Del Watkins. Burial will be at Lone Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Sayre. Survivors include Clenice's husband Delbert of the home; two daughters, Brenda Robertson, LaQueta Draper and husband Joe all of Sayre, Oklahoma; two sisters, Janice Kingham, and Corene Kingham both of Panhandle, Texas; four brothers, LaQuinn Carter of Elk City, Kermit Carter of Oklahoma City, Bobby Carter and Kenneth Carter both of Sayre, Oklahoma; two grandsons Brandon Logan and wife Angie of Sayre, OK, Jason Draper and wife, Kristin of Lake Charles, L.A.; three greatg-grandsons Chase Logan, Drake Logan, and Andrew Draper. And a host of other relatives and friends.
