She married George Ross of Durham, Oklahoma on September 17, 1932. Of this union was borned two children. She was a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church, the National Audubon Society, and the Amarillo Garden Club. Funeral services were conducted at Westminister Presbyterian Church, on November 17, 1986 by Howard F.M. Childers. Interment was at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas. Survivors include her husband, George of the home; a daughter, Elaine Adams of Houston, Texas; a son, J. Michael of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Alberta Brown of Bowie, Texas and Opal Lockett of Bedford, Texas and a brother, Oliver Wallace of Bangs, Texas; and five grandchildren.
