Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Fargo Methodist church with Rev. Orbin Rust officiating. Burial was in Fargo cemetery, Fargo, Oklahoma. Mr. Rice was born in Izard county, Arkansas, June 17, 1883. On September 22, 1909 at Fayetteville, Arkansas he was married to Martha Harris. The family moved to Fargo two years ago from Arnett. He was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge at Arnett and a member of the Church of God. Surviving are his wife, one son Noble of the U.S. Army in Germany, and eight daughters, Mrs. Stanley Moyle, Hawthorne, Nev., Mrs. R.V. Clampitt and Mrs. D.G. Goodwin, Elkhart, Kansas, Mrs. E.S. Spenser, Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. R.S. Blevins, Ventura, California, Mrs. Fred norman, Woodward, Mrs. Daniel Bates, Mountainaire, New Mexico and Mrs. James D. Holloman, Watsonbert, North Carolina, also 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mr. Rice was a early settler of Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
