She was born July 27, 1920 to A.C. and Lillie Scott at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. She was married to Austin Reust on December 25, 1938, at Elk City, Oklahoma and had resided in San Juan County since 1951. Survivors include her husband, Austin Reust of Aztec, children, Neal A. Reust and wife, Kay of Alice Springs, Australia, Dale F. Reust and wife, Jeanie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Dr. Chris S. Reust of Phoenix, six grandchildren and one great grandchild; four sisters, Olive McLellan of Los Alamos, Rose Aument of Aztec, Bertha Porter of Elk City, Zola Sprowls of San Antonio, Texas; and one brother, Clayton Scott of Trinidad, Colorao and a host of nieces and nephews. Services were held at Bethany Christian Church at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 1988, directed by Cope Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Simpson officiating.
