Bonetta A. Richards, 58, of Modesto died Thursday at her home.

Mrs. Richards was a native of Cheyenne, Oklahoma.  She lived in 
Modesto 41 years.  She was a bookkeeper 40 years, and before 
retiring, worked for Venturini-Berry Distributing.  She was a member 
of Orangeburg Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Dale R. Richards of Modesto; a 
daughter, Carol Richards of Modesto; brothers, Billy Jencks of 
Modesto and Howard Jencks of Holtville; a sister, Lenora Jencks of 
Modesto; and one grandchild.

A funeral was conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Colonial Chapel of 
Franklin and Downs, Modesto.  Burial was followed at Acacia Memorial 
Park, Modesto, California.
