Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Pearl was born April 17, 1908 near Eufala to Elijah and Linnie Vickery Stevens and died Thursday at the age of 91. She was married to Cleve Newton Reed on September 13, 1928 in Doxey. They lived in Doxey until 1929 when the family moved to Briscoe, Texas and then to Dempsey where they lived until 1973 when they moved to Elk City. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, four brothers; two sisters and two grandchildren. Survivors include six children, L.G. Reed of Wheeler, Texas, Alvie Joe Reed of Elk City, Cleavie Leon Reed of Elk City, Dora Fay Bryan of Amarillo, Texas, Joy Smith of Clinton and Sherry Lynn Carpenter of Yukon; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; one brother, Jewel Stevens of Merced, California.
