Pete moved to Texas in 1930. On October 18, 1935 to Evelyn Regina Welling in Panhandle, Texas. In September of 1979 they moved back to the Roll Community to make their home. Mr. Ridgeway was employed by Precision Instrumentation, Phillips Petroleum and a member of the Masonic Lodge #811 in Borger, Texas. Those who preceded him in death were his parents and one daughter Duala Regina Stewart. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of the home; 2 grandsons, James William Tanner and Michael James Stewart of Roll and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Magnolia Baptist Church with A.L. Martin and Galen Isaacs officiating. Graveside services were conducted by the Masonic Lodge with interment following in the Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas. Active pallbearers were Freeman Ridgeway, Tom Barber, Jim Barber, Vern Platts, Daniel Newsom and Woodrowe Barber. Honorary pallbearers were M.H. Vaughn and Jimmy Barber. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
