Rule of 902 West Sixth Street, Friona passed away at about 5:50 p.m. Thursday in the Farmer County Community hospital. Graveside services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Friona Cemetery under the direction of Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home. Rule had been a Friona resident since 1929, moving to Friona from Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He was born October 19, 1909, in Strong City, Oklahoma. Rule was a retired farmer. He married Inez Allen December 29, 1931 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Survivors include the wife, Inez; one daughter, Mrs. Patsy Riley of Friona; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Deaton of Lubbock, Texas, Mrs. Avis Wilkerson of Temple and Mrs. Zayde Griffith of Friona. Five brothers also survive: Bob of Friona, Boots of Dolores, Colorado, Buddy of Port Isabel, Texas, Ben of Atlanta, Georgia, and Jim of Yuma, Arizona. Three grandchildren also survive. Mr. Rule was Jesse Wright of Durahm brother-in-law and the son-in-law of Mrs. Oder Allen. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK 5-May-1980
