All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Copied from the Navarro Co., Texas Website: Minnie (Morris) Reel Minnie Morris Reel, 94, of Sand Springs, Okla. was born February 13, 1890 in Corsicana, Texas to Ames and Elizabeth Martin. She passed from this life Thursday night, January 17, 1985 in St. Frances Hospital of Tulsa, Okla. Mrs. Reel came with her parents to Cheyenne in 1900 where they settled west of town. She and Ezra M. Morris were married in 1907 and lived in Cheyenne until 1938 when they moved to California for a short while, returning in 1940. Mr. Morris passed away in 1944. In 1946 she and James Reel were united in marriage and he passed from this life a year later. Mrs. Reel lived in California for a while before moving to Sand Springs, Okla. where she lived at the time of her death. She had been a member of the Church of Christ for a number of years. Those who preceded her in death were her parents, both husbands, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, 2 sons, 1 daughter and 1 granddaughter. Survivors include 2 daughters, Bertie Carl of Ft. Worth, Texas and Ermine Churchill of Topeka, Kansas; 3 sons, Paul Morris of Checotah, Okla., John Morris of Sand Springs, Okla. and Clifford Morris of Henderson, Nevada; 2 sisters, Ethel Perry of Macon, GA and Lessie Cannon, Moore, Okla. Eleven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends including J.A. Morris, a nephews, of Cheyenne. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Cheyenne Church of Christ with Willard Cox officiating. Interment followed in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Okla. Pallbearers were: Lee Roark, A.F.
