Fred King officiating. Burial was concluded in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Stanley-Lee Funeral Home. Ola was born February 9, 1913, in Gotebo, Oklahoma, to Marion and Carrie Rollins, and passed away early Friday, October 17, 2003, in the Integris Baptist Health Ceneter in Oklahoma City. Ola grew up on Gotebo and graduated from hight school there in 1931. After graduation she moved to Cheyenne and married Mr. Clarence Redden on July 6, 1937. She worked for Reynolds Mercantile Store for 3 years and then stayed home to raise her family. She was very artistic and loved to sew and quilt. She was a member of the Cheyenne Baptist Church where she was superintendent of the Junior Department for several years. She was a charter member and past president of the Platonic Club, and had served as worthy matron of Eastern Star. In late 2002 she moved to Oklahoma City to be near her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1985, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Julia Thomas and husband, Tony, of Midwest City; a son, Jim Redden ahd his wife, Angelina, of Tuttle; four grandchildren, Randy Redden and his wife, Jan, Rhonda Cantrell and her husband, Dan, Steve Thomas and his wife, Theresa, Tami Douglas and her husband Glen; 11 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
