Naomi Pearl Cunningham, daughter of James Felix Cunningham and Mary Matilda Cunningham, was born September 3, 1874 in Stephens [should be Hood] County, Texas, and departed this life June 20, 1953, at the age of 78 years, six months and seventeen days. She was united in marriage to Orlando Rollia Bellamy July 26, 1897. To this union two children were born, a son, Lionel Hadden and daughter Gladys Carmen. December 26, 1927, she was married to Sherman H. Rimbey. She taught school 26 years in Roger Mills County and several years in Texas. In 1897 she became a member of the Methodist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Rebekah Lodge, and a life member of the Platonic Club. She was preceded in death by her first husband, son, four brothers and three sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Sherman H. Rimbey, of the home address; one daughter, Gladys Carmen Bellamy of Weatherford; a step-son, Milton Rimbey and step-daughter, Myrtle Bartells, both of Glendale, California; three brothers, Kenneth L. and Judson Cunningham of Cheyenne, and Ray O. Cunningham of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma; two sisters, Lillie Cross Hammon, of Cheyenne and Mavis C. Kaiser, a number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and former students and a host of friends.
