Ragains, North Seventh street, who died Monday night March 4, 1946 at 6:30 p.m. at his home following a long illness were held Wednesday at the Berlin Methodist church with Reverend Garland Wilson officiating. Mr. Ragains was born Feb. 15, 1859 in Polk county, Ill. He settled at Kingfisher in 1887 and moved to Berlin in 1902. His wife preceded him in death in 1940. He was a devoted church worker for 50 years. Survivorws are his five daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Benson and Mrs. Nellie Mackey of Kingfisher, Mrs. Effie Ewton and Mrs. Mindoza Klopfenstein of Sayre, Mrs. Gertie Borwn of Palacious, Texas; one son, Eddie Ragins of Salisbury, Md. Interment was in the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Moore-Allen Funeral directors of the Sayre Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
