He was converted in his early life. He was united with the Baptist Curch and was a true and faithful Christian the remainder of his life. He was married to Mintie Ann Wood at Morgan, Texas on June 15, 1893. To this union ten children were born. His wife died February 14, 1919 at Stiner, Texas. An infant son died in 1914. He married Mrs. Maggie Leach on August 21, 1941 at Strong City, Oklahoma. They moved to Cheyenne, Okakhoma in October 1951. He departed this life at his home on Monday, December 14, 1953 at 4:30 p.m. He leaves to mourn his loss, his companion, Mrs. Maggie Robinson of the home address, and nine children. They are Mrs. Beatrice Davidson, Carter, Okla., Mrs. Effie Broddrick, Grass Valley, Calif.; Mrs. Gladys Tabor, North Bend, Ore.; Mrs. Ruth Tindell, Crawford, Oklahoma; Miss Violet Robinson, Oakland, Calif.; Frank Robinson, Sommerset, Texas; Homer Robinson, San Antonio, Texas; Mark Robinson, Cairo, Illinois; and Joe Robinson, Crawford, Okla; one step-son Johnny Leach, Bristow, Okla; two sisters, Mrs. Della Townsley, Morgan, Texas and Mrs. Hescue Lee of Merced, Calif.; one brother, R.A. Robinson, Sayre, Okla; 21 grabdchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a host of friends and neighbors.
