Rorabough was born in Scotland County, Mo., on October 13, 1850 and died June 25, 1933 at the age of 82 years 8 months and 12 days. She joined the Methodist church when twelve years old and continued faithful in her church work all her life. She was married to Nathan H. Rorabaugh in 1870 to which union twelve children were born, seven boys and five girls of which seven survive. They are James and Joe Rorabaugh of Crawford, Oklahoma, and William of Santa Ann, California; Mrs. S.K. Roberts of Clinton, Oklahoma, Mrs. C.A. Bucklin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Mrs. J.J. Penner of Long Beach, California. Twenty-five grand children were born twenty three surviving; also twenty-four great grand children survive. The husband preceded her in death in 1920 at the age of 71. She moved to Jasper County, Mo., in 1883, then to Newton County, Mo. in 1885, from there she moved to Custer County, Oklahoma in 1900 and to a homestaed 3 1/2 miles southeast of Crawford, Oklahoma in 1901. Here she resided until the death of her husband since which time she has resided with her children. Two years of this time was spent with her daughter, Mrs. J.J. Penner in Long Beach, California. She was visiting her son, Arthur Rorabaugh at Sweetwater at the time of her death. She was ready to start to church as was her Sunday morning custom when suddenly the end came. Funeral services were held in Crawford, June 27, 1933 after which the remains were laid to rest in the Fairview Cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma by the side of her husband.
