He was a native of Hammon, Oklahoma, born December 4, 1917. He was a veteran of World War II, a retired salesman and a former employee of WHEO Radio in Stuart. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Savage, of the home; a son, Lew Savage, Jr., of Dallad, Texas; and two daughters, Mrs. Judith Ellis of Nashville, Tennessee, and Mrs. Mary Martha Davis of Torrance, California. Also surviving are three sisters, Margie Heeney of Topeka, Kansas, Lorena Males and Glena Belle Crane of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; two brothers, Ted Savage of Ada, Oklahoma and Eugene Savage of Cheyenne; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service was held Saturday, December 21, 1985 at Howell Funeral Home. The Rev. David Sparks conducted the service.
