He passede away April 3, 1999 at Roseville, California. He attended school at Rose Hill one room school and at Cheyenne School. During World War II, he worked in Defense Plants, the Navy Ship Yard, in Long Beach, California where he traveled 2 hours on street cars to get to work. (Gas was rationed). He also worked at Reynolds Alumimum Co. "Alcoa" at Phoenix, Arizona. On February 14, 1942 he married Goldie Irene Montgomery of the Rose Hill and Needmore Communities. She preceded him in death exactly 10 years earlier. To this union 2 children were born Monte Steven Spitzer, who alsp preceded him in death and Mary Ella Saper of Fair Oaks, California; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Sptizer of Sayre, Oklahoma; 2 sisters Irene Patterson of Los Animos, Colorado and Dorothy Guymon of Cartwright, Oklahoma; many friends and realtives, who wil remember him as a true friend and a wonderful pereson.
