Sisson who lived three miles south of Berlin, fell from his wagon Thursday, August 23, 1906 while on his way to Berlin from Sayre and received injuries which resulted in his death. The accident happened about two miles from Sayre and he was taken to that town ands cared for until he died Sunday morning. Mr. Sission was 70 years old and came to this county from Iowa. He leaves a wife, children and grandchildren. He was an old soldier and the members of both the G.A.R. and the ex-confederates assisted in the funeral. The remains were interred Monday in the Berlin cemetery, Rev. Roberts of Sayre conducting the services. A large number of sympathizine friends attended.
