All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Mollie Butcher Sasser WELLINGTON - Mollie Butcher Sasser, 93, of Waco, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Wellington with the Rev. Monte Kreis, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Sasser was born in Kentucky. In 1939, she moved to Wellington from Cheyenne, Okla., then moved to Waco in 1992. She was a member of the Assembly of God. She married Marvin Sasser in 1932 at Cheyenne. He died in 1963. Survivors include five sons, Melvin Sasser and Ervin Sasser, both of Cheyenne, Bill Teakell of Amarillo, Raymond Sasser of Dumas and Joe D. Sasser of Waco; four daughters, Lesie Burkhalter of Amarillo, Dorothy Sharp of Claude, Louise Johnson of Aransas Pass and Delores Phelan of Waco; 28 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Wellington Cemetery Association.
