Obit for Lilburn Orphit Shugart

Lilburn Orphit Shugart was born October 29, 1896 and passed awaay November 23, 
1959 at the age of 63 years and 25 days.  He was married to Dicy Brink, February 
19, 1918.  To this union four children were born, two daughters and two sons, all 
of whom survive him.  They are Mrs. Jay Keys, Miss Marvirene Shugart, and Theodore 
Shugart, all of Amarillo, Texas and Jesse Shugart of Gladstone, New Mexico.  Also 
surviving him are six grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Julia Shugart, three brothers 
and two sisters: Lemuel of Amarillo, Jesse of Pueblo, Colorado, Andy of Denver, 
Colorado, Mrs. Preston Warren of Colorado Springs and Mrs. V irgil Davis of
Cheyenne, Oklahoma.  His memory will be cherished by a host of other relatives
and friends.

He accepted Christ as his Savior in the Baptist Church during childhood days.

The pallbearers who are old time friends of Orphit were Ralph Hanawalt, Charlie 
Davis, Charlie Gilliland, Fred Yount, Fred lucas, and Billie Stauber.
