Scott, 75, who died Monday at his daughter's residence in Houston, Texas. Francis was the oldest son of the late A.C. Scott family, who were pioneers of the Roll Community. He grew to manhood at Roll and will be remembered by many. Francis had moved to Brownsville, Texas where he was a resident and longtime goverment employee. Custom Agency Service at Brownsville International Bridge. His wife, Mrs. Edna N. Scott, had been employed by the Brownsville School District for many years. He was past master of the Rio Grande Lodge No. 81 and had recived his 50 years Masonic pin. Survvivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jack Sommer of Houston; two sons, Albert Scott of San Francisco and Charles Scott of Seabrook, Texas; five sisters, Ruth Reust of Farmington, New Mexico, Olive McClellan of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Bertha Porter of Canadian, Texas, and Zola Sprowls of Portland, Oregon; two brothers, Oral Scott of Yakima, Washington and Clayton Scott of Trinidad, Colorado and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Hewitt Funeral Home in Temple, Texas with graveside services conducted by the Masonic Lodge at Roberts Cemetery in Troy, Texas. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK 12-Jul-1979
