George Boston, Pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery. Scott died Wednesday, Mary 11, 1977, just four days before he would have observed his 82nd brithday. He was born in Freestone County, Texas, May 15, 1895. He was married August 8, 1914, to Lazora Brandon, in Comanche. The family moved form Waurika to Cleveland in 1946. In partnership with his son, the Scotts purchsed two move theaters, which they operated for several years. They sold the theatres to go into oil business and later branched out into cattle ranching south of Cleveland. The partnership was disolved in 1968. Mr. and Mrs. Scott continued to live in their home at 503 North C., after his retirement. In their family of six children, a son and daughter died in infancy. Another daughter, Mrs. Ben (Marjorie) Barrett, died in 1957. Survivors include his wife, Lazora, of the home, 503 North C., Cleveland; a son, Oscar T. Scott, III, Nahsville, Arkansas; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Wallace, Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Betty Martin, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Milo Scott, Waurika, and Carol Scott, Hollywood, California, and a sister, Mrs. Ura Harrington, Exeter, California. Oscar was the cousin of Mr. Art Scott and Mr. Frank Vincent of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
