St. John, 74, died Monday, October 28, 2002, at the Hospic Home in Ft. Myers, Florida. Eva was born June 4, 1928 to Lee and Maud Myers of Reydon, Oklahoma. She graduated from Reydon High School in 1946. Eva married Gordon St. John in Rockford, Illinois on February 16, 1950. She was employed for 26 years at Warner Lamber in Rockford. Member of First Assembly of God Church and the Christian Women's Club of Rockford for 20 years. Eva performed in many plays through the Park Little Theatre Group. She also was involved in the creation of the Harlen Community Center and was an active committee person for the village of Machesney Park. After retirement Eva and Gordon made their home at Ft. Myers, Florida. Survivors include husband, Gordon; daughters, Tonda (Larry) Borrison of Love Park and Carla (Denny) Lee of Macheney Paark; sons, Randy (Katie) St. John of Roscoe and Gordy . St. John of Rockford; seven grandechildren; three-great grandchildren; sisters, Ollie (Wesley) York of Durham, Oklahoma; Mable (Dan) Sadler of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents and brother, Ralph Myers. Services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2002 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Contributions can be made in loving memory of Eva to the Society for Progressive Supranuclar Palsy (PSP) Research to help find a cure for this debilitating issue.
