Interment followed in the Mustang Cemetery under the direction of the McNeil's Mustang Funeral service of Mustang. Harvey was born Februarty 16, 1925 in Moorwood to Lonnie S. and Elliswiese Holder Stalcup and died Friday April 21, 2000 at the age of 75. He grew up in the Moorewood Community and attended school at Quartermaster and Pie Flat Schools. He lived from 1951 to 1959 in Cordell and came to Mustang in 1999. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for many years for the state of Oklahoma for the Department of Transportation. He was a retired volunteer firefighter and policeman for the City of Cordell. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Cordell and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Elois and Clara; two brothers, Ira and E.T. and one grandson, Ricky. Survivors include his wife, Alice of the home; one son, Harold Keith Stalcup and his wife Linda of Hemphill, Texas; one daughter, Judy Kay Ploch and her husband Quentin of Mustang; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Stalcup of Hammon, Oklahoma and Wayne Stalcup of Eufaula, Oklahoma.
