Mrs. Stalling was born onj February 22, 1929 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She completed her education in Crawford, Oklahoma and shortly after was married and moved to California, where she eventually settled in Santa maria and raised six children. She was employed at several restuarants over the next 40 years and retired in 19943. She is survived by her children, Carol Logan, J.D. Rose, Junior, Randall Rose, Kenneth Rose, Sandra Martinez and Roger Rose; 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also sruvived by her sister, Hazel Cockrum and her brother, Clyde Woodward; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Stallings, her parents Tom and Merle Woodward, and brothers, Loyd, Donald Gene and Ray Woodward. Her presence will be greatly missed. Her grandchildren will forever be grateful for her showing and teaching them unconditional love and for being a constant in their lives. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 9, 1999 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary, with Dr. Charles N. Gibbs officiating. Burial followed in Santa Maria Cemetery.
