Stamper, 71, who died July 10, 1979, in Salem, Oregon. Robert H. Stamper was born March 4, 1908, at Hammon, Oklahoma, to Chalrie and Alice Stamper. On September 21, 1929, he married Cleeta Kepley of Strong City. Robert and Cleeta made their home in Salem, Oregon, since 1937. Robert was a building contrator for 31 years in and around Salem. Survivors are his wife, Cleeta, of the home; only daughter, Rovena Faye Varbel, Albany, Oregon; 3 grandchildren, Barry, Kathleen, and Patrick Varbel, of Albany, Oregon; 6 sisters, Thelma Harrison, Pueblo, Colorado, Emma Goin, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and Mary Rogers, Pueblo, Colorado, Eva Gilbert, Medford, Oregon, Olga Allen, Tacoma, Washington, and Georgia White, Central Point, Oregon; 2 brothers, Gordon and Clyde Stamper of Strong City, Oklahoma.
