Funeral services for Edmond Eugene Stancel, 38, native of Hammon, who died 
August 24, 1967, in Riverside, California, were held at 10:00 A.M.  August 
29, 1967 in the Acheson and Graham Chapel with Rev. Willey Gregory, 
officiating.  Burial was in Olivewood Cemetery, Riverside, California.

Mr. Stancel was born January 18, 1929, in Hammon.  He was a veteran of 
World War II and was employed as assistant District Manager of the 
American National Insurance Co. of San Bernardino, California, at the time 
of his death.

Surviving are two daughters, Marlene Strother and Jeannie Gregory, both of 
Riverside, and one granddaughter.  His parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.C. Stancel; 
three sisters, Della Williamson, Hammon; Stella Kauk and Elsiew Hutcheson, 
Leedey; two brothers, J.C. "Bud " Stancel, Colton, California, and 
Randolph Stancel, Elk City, and a host of relatives and friends.
