Max Malone, Rev. Dorothy Davis and Rev. Joe Osage and Archie Jackson. Burial wil conclude in the Bethel Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of the Stanley-Lee Funeral Home. Marlene Standingwater was born March 21, 1963 to Samuel T. Standingwater and Elaine Miles in Elk City and passed away early Saturday moning April 3, 1993 in the Clinton Indian Hospital following a battle of cancer. Ms. Standingwater has spent mosst of her life in Hammon and the Elk City area. She attended Hammon public schools. She is a member of the Hammon Indian Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father Samuel T. Standingwater and her maternal grandfather John William Miles. She is survived by three daughters, Erica Dominguez, Hammon, Lisa Standingwater, Hammon and Frances Standingwater, Burns Flat, two sons, Oscar Dominguez, Mexico and Sammy Standingwater, Hammon, her mother, Elaine Bird, Hammon, five sisters, Ruth Ann Costilla, Lame Deer, Montans, Carol Standingwater, Hammon, Betty Jo Bird, Hammon, Roselyn Bird, Elk City and Rosemary Rodarte, Elk City, and one brother, Richard Bird, Lame Deer, Montana. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Minnie Miles, Hammon, three aunts, Esther Seger, Elk City, Cheryl Carter, Elk City, and Mary Ann Miles, Hammon, three uncles, James Miles, Rudolph Miles and Donald Miles all of Hammon.
