Elton attended school in Hammon and Lame Deer, Montana before returning to Hammon in September of 1995 to make his home. He was a member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Wild Land Firefighters. He attended the Indian Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather. The Wake Service will be held in the Inidan Assembly of God Church, in Hammon, Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. with Rev. Mark Dodson, officiating. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hammon High School Auditorium officiated by Fred Lowe, and assisted by Clyde Johnson, Jr. Interment will be in the Bethel Mennonite Cemetery under the dirtection of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service. Survivors include: his father, Rueben Wesley Seven Star of Hammon; his mother and step-father, Ruth and Juan Costilla of Lame Deer, Montana; four borthers, Bruce Seven Star of Hammon, James Luis Costilla of Lame Deer, Montana, Juan Jose Costilla, Jr. of Lame Deer, Montana; four sisters, Joanna Costilla, Jessice Costilla, Janae Costilla, Jeneva Costilla all of Lame Deer, Montana; paternal grandparents, John and Lillian Seven Star of Hammon; maternal grandmother, Elaine Bird of Hammon; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
