Obit for Mariah Elizabeth Stroup

Mariah Elizabeth Stroup died Sunday Decembver 31, 1961 in the Cheyennje 
hospital.

Funeral services were in the Church of Christ, Cheyenne, at 2:00 p.m. 
Wednesday with Kent Ellis officiating.

She was born in Paris, Illinois, December 17, 1874 and came to Cheyenne in 
1925 from Oilton, oklahoma and had resided there since. 

Survivvors are three daughters, Mrs. W.O. Seymour, Phillips, Texas, 
Mrs. R.L. Lovett, Aynwood, California, Mrs. V.W. Fowler, Borger, Texas; 
four sons H.A., Cheyenne; Ross of San Bernadino, California, Manford of Cheyenne, 
Lowell of Borger, Texas, one sister, Mrs. Carrie Gould, Arkansas City, Kansas.

Interment was in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma 
with the Scroggins and son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
