While visiting with friends on December 31, 1989, Billy wnet to be with his Lord as a result of an automobile accident. Billy is the son of William and Dorothy Stroud of Wilcox, Arizona and the brother of Andy Wood of Scottsdale, Arizona, Lujane Stroug of Tucson, Arizona, and Leanne Stroud of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is the grandson of Clyde C. Barnes of Wilcox, Arizona and Clyde C. Barnes of Wilcox, Arizona and LeVera Wood of Ada, Oklahoma and a nephew Delbert Meyer of Leedey, Oklahoma. Billy attended Wilcox schools from 1975-1988 when he graduated. He was involved in track, basketball, state runner-up in football, was W-Club president and was voted most spirited his senior year. He was also active in the First Baptist Church. Billy attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, as an athletic trainer for their football team and their NAIA National champion runner-up basketball team. He last attended Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Arizona on an athletic training scholarship. Billy enjoyed Oklahoma football and basketball, motorcycles, movies, music, pool, his dog Beau, praticical jokes, and humor, but most of all hie family and his friends. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
