Darlene Rae Selby was born in Elk City, Oklahoma, November 11, 1926 
and passed away February 17, 2003 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the 
age of 76 years.

She, her parents, Mary Short Blann and Otis Ray Blann and her twin 
sister Dorene lived in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, before moving to Reydon 
where Darlene graduated Salutarian from Reydon High School in 1945.

Darlene married Jack Selby March 24, 1946 in Wheeler, Texas.  They 
farmed in Reydon, Oklahoma until 1956 when they moved to Oklahoma 
City, Oklah9oma and went into the plumbing business.  She was 
secretary/treasurer of the company but Jack and employees 
affectionately called her "Boss."

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Short Blann and Otis 
Ray Blann.  Surviving her are husband, L.J. "Jack" Selby, of 
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son and daughter-in-law, Terry W. and 
Margaret E. "Maggie: Selby, of Piedmont, Oklahoma; grandchildren, 
Susan Michelle Guay and husband, James Guay, Shawn and Melissa 
Englehardt; great grandchildren, Sarah and Spener Englehardt, all of 

Orlando, Florida; twin sister, Doreene Lavola Hillman and husband, 

Gale Hillman of Oklahoma City, Oklahom and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

She and Jack would have celebrated 557 year os marriage the 24th day 
of March.
