Departed this life March 1, 1918 at 11 a.m. it being her birthday and being just 57 to the hour. She came to this country in 1893 settling in Nebraska where she had relatives and where she was united in marriage to John Schelistede, January 25, 1894, where they lived for a few years from Nebraska they moved to Illinois, from there to Oklahoma City moving to Roger Mills in 1902. About seven miles east of ankin where they now reside. To this union were born four cvhildren Clara Augusta, Bertha, Herman and Louise Elizabeth. Also having been a mother to a daughter of Mr. Schelisted, Mr.(s?) Ed Moller. Two children died in infancy, Clara and Louise have resided with their parents. Also she has four sisters to mourn her death also many friends. Mrs. Scheilstede, always led a very examplay life she being a lady of fine Christian character. She united with Evangelical Luthern Church in early youth, fulling her mission her faithful. Those who live thus have the assistance of a greater hereafter. The sorrowing ones have that consolation, trusting, sometime to meet her. She had been constantly ill for over a year but she bire her suffering with great patence and fortiude she was consious to the last, bidding her loved ones a loving farewell. Yearing for the welfare of her youngest daughter. She was a very devoted wife and mother. The sorrowing ones have the sympathy of a large host of friends. Funeral Services were conducted at the Rankin Church by Rev. G.F. Martin, Sunday March 3rd, 1918. Interment was made in the Rankin (now White Rose) Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
