Obit for Ralph W. Sawin

Services for Ralph W. Sawin will be in the Methodist church in Cheyenne Thursday 
at 2:00 p.m.

Mr Sawin, 65 died suddenlty Sunday February 14, 1965 in Cheyenne.  He was born 
in 1900.  He and his wife had come from Des Palos, California to visit her 
mother, Mrs. Lula Rupp here.

Survivros are his wife Verna of Des Palos, California; step-children, Alice 
Bullard, Arnett; Katie Davis, Dallas, Texas; Charles E. Drake, Warminster, 
Pennsylvania; Faye Randolf, Hawhtorne, California; Le5roy Drake, Los Angeles, 
California; his son Ralph Waldo Sawin, Jr., Farmington, New Mexico; 13 
grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He came to the Dempsey community with his parents in 1904.  In 1937 he was 
married to Verna Drake.

Interment in Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under 
direction of Scroggins and Son.
