Craft Annie E. Craft, the daughter of James and Annie Craft, was born February 16, 1885 at Praire Grove, Arkansas. After a lingering illness of several months she departed this life March 8, 1962, in the Guymon Memorial Hospital, Guymon, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. She was married to Charley Spencer, December 19, 1909 at Prairie Grove, Arkansas. To this union were born four children. She came to Roger Mills County and settled at Grimes in 1917. In 1928 she moved to Reydon, and in 1942 to Cheyenne, where she lived untill June, 1960. At this time Mrs. Spencer moved to Guymon, Oklahoma, where she resided until her death. Mrs. Spencer was a member of the church of Christ. Her husband, one son, and one daughter, preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Rice of Altus; one 3 son, M.M. Spencer of Guymon; three grandchildren: Shirley Rice of Altus; Merrit Elman Spencer of Detroit, Michigan; and Andy Spencer of Guymon; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Hattie Craft of Tulsa; two brothers-in-law and wives, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Spencer of Grimes and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Spencer of Sayre; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Spencer were held at the Cheyenne church of Christ Sunday, March 11, 1962, at 2:30 p.m. with John ny Freeman officiating. Interment was at White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
