Services were at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Amarillo with Mark Keys, president of the Childress branch, and T. Scott Hendrick, stake president, officiating. Entombment was in Memorial Park Mausoleum in Amarillo by Robertson Funeral Directors Inc. of Clarendon. Mrs. Smith was born in Crawford, Okla., and had been a resident of Amarillo from 1942 until 1973, when she moved to Hedley. She retired 10 years ago as a licensed vocational nurse and special-duty nurse. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Childress branch. She married Bois Melvin Smith in 1934 at Perryton.
