Interment will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Allie K. Smith was born May 25, 1916 at Wellington, Texas to John and Lettie Lowry Stewart and passed away Friday July 7, 2006 at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 12 days. She attended Hammon and Kiowa Schools and was married to Claude L. Smith on July 18, 1938 at Hammon . Mrs. Smith farmed and ranched in Roger Mills County during her working career and retired in 1994 when she moved to Elk City. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Cheyenne and then moved her membership to the First Baptist Church of Elk City. She was a member of the Herring Home Demostration Club and the Strong City Quilting Club. Mr. Smith preceded her in death on November 26, 1985. Survivors include 4 children: Peggy Givens and her husband George of McAlester, OK, Margaret Rackley of Oklahoma City, John Smith and his wife Joyce of Cheyenne and Randy Smith and his wife Vicky of Peoria, AZ, onew sister, Dessie Webb of Strong City, 8 grandchildren, Jill Olsen of McAlester, Carroll Wright of Choctaw, Johnny Smith of Huntsville, AL, Katherine Rackley of Summer Shade, JY, Jennifer Valero of Edinburg, TX, David Smith of Phoenix, AZ, Valerie Smith of Grand Prairie, TX and Jeremy Smith of Midwest City and 3 sisters-in-law, Ila Dillalo of Chicago, IL, Allene Stewart of Hammon and Neva Stewart of Amarillo, TX.
